Steven Bruso is Associate Professor of English at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. He received his Ph.D in English at Fordham University in New York, and his research focuses on late medieval literature, violence, and gender studies. He also has research interests in fantasy medievalisms.

His work has been presented at numerous conferences throughout the United States and in Canada, and his scholarship has been published in edited volumes, as well as journals like Arthuriana, Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, and Studies in Medievalism.

At Endicott College, he regularly teaches courses on Critical Reading and Writing, Introduction to Literature, Early British Literature, Early World Literature, Fantasy Literature, Science Fiction Literature, and Shakespeare. He is also the faculty advisor for Endicott’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta.
